Why I Believe Healing is Personal

Not one-size-fits-all 🌿
I don’t believe healing comes in a box.
I don’t believe one protocol works for every body.
And I don’t believe your path should look like anyone else’s.
Healing is personal—because you are personal.
Your body carries your history, your stress, your seasons, your joys, your grief. No two nervous systems are the same. No two lives are lived the same way. Why would healing be any different?
🌱 Your Body Has a Story
Every ache, craving, flare-up, or moment of exhaustion is information—not failure.
Your body remembers:
What you’ve lived through
How safe (or unsafe) you’ve felt
How much rest you’ve had
How much support you’ve been given
Healing begins when we stop silencing those signals and start listening.
🍃 Plants Meet You Where You Are
This is why I love herbalism.
Plants don’t force change.
They don’t override your body.
They support what’s already happening.
One person may need calming herbs.
Another may need warmth.
Another may need nourishment before anything else.
The same herb can feel grounding to one person and too stimulating to another. And that doesn’t mean the herb is wrong—it means the body is communicating.
🌿 There Is No “Right” Way to Heal
Some days healing looks like:
A cup of tea and an early bedtime
Other days it looks like:
Saying no
Resting instead of pushing
Choosing gentle support over extremes
And sometimes healing looks like doing less—not more.
You don’t need to keep up with trends.
You don’t need to cleanse harder.
You don’t need to fix yourself.
You are not broken.
🌱 Healing Is a Relationship
Healing isn’t a destination—it’s a relationship with your body.
It’s built through:
Consistency
Curiosity
Patience
Compassion
Just like plants, we grow best when we’re tended to—not rushed, judged, or forced.
🌙 A Rooted Belief I Carry
I believe healing happens when we stop asking,
“What should I do?”
and start asking,
“What does my body need right now?”
There is wisdom in you.
There is intelligence in your body.
There is no one-size-fits-all path.
Healing is personal. And that’s where its power lives.
